CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon's client business and day-to-day management of client programs.

Priority location is Atlanta, GA, but the location of this position can be flexible for an Octagon office location (Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, or Stamford, CT) located within either the Eastern or Central Time Zone, with priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in office) in one of these aforementioned office locations.**

As our new Account Manager, you will get to work on our clients' 2026 FIFA World Cup partnership and help us bring it to life across North America. The right candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, have strong soccer experience, a proficient understanding of the retail industry, and solid client service credentials. You enjoy being part of a large team, possess strong problem-solving capabilities, and are very solutions-orientated.

To excel in this role, you must be a self-starter, a good multi-tasker, a quick learner, able to work fast and efficiently, and build strong relationships with our day-to-day clients. The responsibilities for this position will require travel to attend client meetings, live event executions, and work on the weekends.

What You'll Do

    Help our client launch, develop, and execute their new 2026 FIFA World Cup Partnership across North America

    Manage specific aspects of this new partnership across multiple client channels and internal Octagon specialty groups
    Client and vendor management, with very detailed program budget oversight

    Develop workflow timelines, planning documents, program execution guides, and measurement plans

    Lead client and agency meetings while utilizing project trackers to ensure all deadlines are properly followed and met

    Work with and establish strong, trusted relationships with agency partners, properties, media, and content partners

    Other Administrative duties as assigned

Recommended Skills

    4 to 6 years of proven experience within the soccer industry developing strong integrated brand marketing campaigns and compelling onsite activation programs

    Spanish-language fluency is required to fulfill job responsibilities

    Proven soccer subject matter expertise, having played a leadership role in the oversight and execution of major integrated soccer marketing campaigns.

    Strong understanding of the regional and global soccer landscape, specifically working directly with FIFA

    Experience developing robust marketing campaigns for a retail-specific brand and/or client preferred

    Experience leading large teams on complex projects

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

    A strategic, collaborative approach to solving problems with ideas – build relationships and influence a range of teams

    Successful at encouraging positive agency and client relationships

    Flexibility and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, and work weekends or holidays as needed
